Earth Angel wants to help you take action towards a sustainable future but in doing so we know we need to minimise the impact of our own operations and the products we supply.

- Sustainability being the basis for Earth Angel's long-term business strategy.
- Using brown paper and corrugated cardboard, and reusing cardboard boxes to provide as high as possible recyclable packaging for deliveries.
- Purchase products from local or New Zealand based suppliers in preference to international - where available.
- Work with local suppliers to develop new products that help reduce waste, increase energy efficiency, or provide more sustainable actions.
- Minimising energy usage through installing compact fluorescent lights, turning off the computer monitor when not in short-term use, turning off the computer not being used for long periods (eg overnight).
- Printing and copying on recycled paper where possible.
- Printing business cards on recycled card and with vegetable-based inks.
- Sending out the Earth Angel newsletter by email to reduce paper usage.
- Choosing a vehicle that meets our business needs and has good fuel economy for that vehicle type.
- Reusing or recycling packaging we receive as much as possible.
- Large scale worm farms/compost bins for growing own worm stock are made from wood reused from local transfer station.
- Run Earth Angel operations as home-based sites until impact of running such operations become more effective from a single site.
- Use the internet to promote and sell Earth Angel products to reduce travel of customers.
- Earth Angel supports a number of community groups/organisations like Greenhite Kindergarten, North Shore Home & Familty Counselling Service and Auckland University's Whareuku Project for community fundraising projects.
- Using products/services from like-minded sustainable businesses where possible.
